As I have mentioned, my sister got engaged the beginning of February.  This past weekend my parents threw them an Engagement Party in Atlanta, which in reality I think was the size of many peoples weddings!  I absolutely love being with my family and this was a fantastic weekend!!

Not only did I get to spend time with my Mom, Dad and sister I also finally met my sister’s fiancé’s family.  They were all so sweet and just as excited as ours about the pending nuptials.

From the Friday night BBQ to Saturday lunch and the official engagement party on Sunday - I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend to celebrate Meryl and Joel (and these are the pictures to prove it)!!

Four of the Nine Bridesmaids!!!

Well we are about 40 days into the new year and I have not started one of my new year’s resolution, to create a blog.  I never thought I would be someone to just have a blog for fun, but after seeing so many people create their own and enjoy it I thought I would give it a try.

As I just had a wonderful weekend, I thought why not start now!  My sister got engaged last Thursday!!!!  Even better, her incredible fiance flew me in to surprise her (yeah he is pretty awesome)!  It is such an exciting time for my family and everyone is so happy!  We had a wonderful weekend of fun celebration and even the started some planning!  EEEK  I hope you enjoy the photos!
