Last night I went to the wonderful new Cirque Du Soleil show Zarkana at Radio City Music Hall with one of my best friends.  This was the second Cirque show I have seen and I absolutely love the modern circus feel.  I turn into a total kid and am in awe of everyone’s incredible talents.  My favorite act was definitely the trapeze.  It was amazing to see the performers fly through the air like it was nothing.  Overall it was a fantastic spectacle.

One of the best parts about living in NYC is that at any moment your day can become 100X more exciting than you expected.  Case and point, yesterday I thought I was going to spend my evening going to yoga and then watching TV, but then my friend Haley scored some tickets to The Book of Mormon, a brand new musical from the creators of South Park.  Now, I am no NYTimes Broadway critic, but I have seen my fair share of Broadway musicals and I would like to think I am a pretty good judge.  As you can probably imagine it was HILARIOUS!  At one point I was crying I was laughing so hard, and at another point I think I may have been disturbing the rest of the audience with my cackling. 

Overall, this was quite possibly the funniest show I have ever seen.  The acting and choreography was impeccable and the humor (although completely offensive at times) is smart and too funny to not laugh at.  I highly recommend for anyone in NYC or planning to visit!
